About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company dedicated to sourcing and exporting top-tier solid minerals and agricultural products, alongside our growing industrial operations. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize daily production activities within our plastic manufacturing facility. In this role, you will ensure that all production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while strictly adhering to our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to ensure targets are achieved within approved timelines.
- Monitor production output, machine efficiency, capacity utilization, downtime, waste, and material consumption.
- Develop robust production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and available manufacturing capacity.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other critical production resources.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to manage machine breakdowns, performance, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to continuously improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor production costs and execute strategies to reduce waste and unnecessary expenditure.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to identify and resolve product defects and production variances swiftly.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational regulations across the facility.
- Supervise production personnel, managing attendance, productivity, discipline, and overall team performance.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales departments to guarantee uninterrupted workflow.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant production and manufacturing experience in a structured environment.
- Proven hands-on experience managing production teams within a manufacturing setting.
- Practical, in-depth knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, blow moulding, or extrusion.
- Strong understanding of production planning, machine utilization, quality control, and waste reduction methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP and manufacturing systems or digital production reporting tools is an added advantage.
