About the Role
Pagatech Limited is seeking a visionary and driven Product Manager to join our dynamic Product Development group. Since 2009, our mission has been to enable a cashless society and bank the unbanked across Africa through our flagship mobile payments service, Paga. In this role, you will collaborate with full-stack, Agile-driven teams—including software engineers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance specialists—to build, scale, and optimize innovative financial products that delight both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end product development activities, spanning ideation, detailed specifications, design collaboration, development oversight, and post-deployment curation.
- Engage directly with end-users, stakeholders, and the marketing team to refine product vision and strategy.
- Continuously improve existing product offerings through rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis of product performance and market fit.
- Collaborate effectively with industry and ecosystem partners to achieve strategic product goals.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while championing a user-centric design ethos.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in product management or related product development roles.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile and Scrum product development methodologies.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, critical problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
