About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, commercial real estate acquisition, lease negotiation, and vendor onboarding for our nationwide physical expansion. In this pivotal role, you will act as the commercial anchor for capital expenditure and real estate portfolio growth, ensuring the timely and cost-effective rollout of regional offices and branch experience centers across major Nigerian cities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead market research, site identification, and commercial lease negotiations for prospective real estate assets across target states.
- Partner with legal counsel and estate surveyors to conduct rigorous due diligence, verifying land titles and structural viability.
- Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy for nationwide branch rollouts, retrofits, and specialized MEP infrastructure.
- Source institutional-grade security assets, vault doors, power generating sets, and mission-critical data center equipment.
- Publish Invitations to Tender (ITTs), manage RFPs, and negotiate optimal credit terms, performance bonds, and service level agreements.
- 4 to 7 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, and corporate real estate acquisition experience within banking, fintech, or top-tier construction firms.
- Relevant degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications or memberships from recognized bodies such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or NIESV are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian commercial property market, leasing laws, contract frameworks, and BOQ auditing.
