About the Role
Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation & commissioning (EPCIC) services across the oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team and support critical operations for the AKK project.
Key Responsibilities- Procure project indirect and minor requested materials, processing PRs, verifying prices, and analyzing quotes using GEP and SAP.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, negotiate purchase terms and conditions, and establish frame agreements with suppliers.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives to manage and reduce supply chain and logistics operational costs.
- Ensure timely submission of procurement packages requiring Supply Chain Governance Board (SCGB) approval.
- Provide procurement support for Oilserv bids and tenders, monitoring market prices to facilitate efficient pricing reviews.
- Conduct due diligence, supplier performance assessments, and maintain vendor scorecards for approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with QA/QC to inspect delivered orders and ensure goods meet exact technical specifications.
- Manage local and foreign procurement activities, tracking shipments, and coordinating with clearing officers for PAAR and Form M processing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Professional membership in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) with completed levels 4-5.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a procurement function, preferably within the oil and gas or EPCIC industry.
- Proficiency in SAP and procurement platforms like GEP.
