About the Role
South Kitchen & Lounge is a premier Nigerian food, drinks, and hospitality brand with vibrant locations in Abeokuta and Ibadan. We are renowned for offering authentic Nigerian cuisines, continental dishes, signature cocktails, mocktails, and a relaxed dining and entertainment experience. We are currently looking for a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team and help maintain our high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate reliable vendors, suppliers, and contractors for food items, beverages, and hospitality supplies.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize procurement costs.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure inventory levels are adequately maintained across all branches.
- Conduct regular market surveys and quality checks to ensure goods meet health, safety, and brand standards.
- Lodge and resolve discrepancies regarding pricing, damaged goods, or delayed deliveries with suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen, bar, and finance teams to forecast supply needs and manage budgets effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all purchases, invoices, and delivery receipts for auditing purposes.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Agent, or relevant role, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian food and beverage market and reliable vendor networks in Abeokuta and Ibadan.
