About the Role
Filmhouse Limited is a dynamic film exhibition company renowned for excellence in cinema operations, consultancy for cinema development, and film distribution across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team and help drive cost efficiency across our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, availability, and service to secure the best value for the company.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiating favourable commercial terms and pricing with vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure the timely processing and delivery of all approved purchases.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and up-to-date documentation.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up proactively with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery schedules.
- Support comprehensive supplier onboarding, ongoing evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Inventory, Retail/F&B, Finance, and other internal departments to understand and fulfil procurement requirements efficiently.
- Identify strategic cost-saving opportunities and recommend suitable product alternatives where necessary.
- Ensure all procurement activities strictly comply with company policies, approval matrices, and agreed specifications.
- Resolve supplier-related issues promptly and escalate significant concerns to the Procurement Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional procurement or supply chain certification will be an added advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within retail, hospitality, FMCG, entertainment, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
