Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Nursing Officer (Out-Patient/A&E) to join our healthcare team in Benin. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional nursing care, act as a senior clinical resource, and supervise junior nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical governance are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care and serve as a senior clinical resource within the out-patient and A&E streams.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior nursing staff, trainees, and clinical support teams.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans for diverse patient demographics.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic treatments accurately within the established professional scope of practice.
  • Maintain precise, complete, and timely patient records while adhering to strict infection-prevention protocols.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex triage decisions and same-day clinical escalations.
  • Coordinate specialized injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics with precision and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-registration nursing experience, ideally within out-patient or accident and emergency settings.
  • Valid and current Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration and active MCPDP compliance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing assessment, patient safety, and clinical governance standards.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
