Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care and serve as a senior clinical resource within out-patient and A&E streams.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior nursing staff, interns, and trainees.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans for diverse patients.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic treatments accurately within your professional scope of practice.
  • Maintain precise, complete, and timely patient records while adhering to strict infection-prevention protocols.
  • Act as a senior decision-maker for triage and manage same-day clinical escalations from consulting rooms.
  • Coordinate specialized injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics effectively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-registration nursing experience in a recognized hospital setting.
  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration/licence and MCPDP compliance.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification or Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
  • Completed or exempted from NYSC (for degree holders).
  • Demonstrated expertise in out-patient nursing, triage, patient safety, and clinical governance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
