As a Principal Mobile Engineer specializing in POS Terminals, you will spearhead the architecture and design of our robust POS solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring top-tier scalability, security, and performance for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the architecture and design of Android Native and cross-platform POS terminal solutions, ensuring seamless hardware integration and payment processing.
- Define and enforce software engineering best practices, conducting code reviews and optimizing system performance around EMV security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to align technical vision with strategic business goals.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams, fostering professional growth and guiding technical decision-making.
- Participate actively in the hiring process to screen top-tier mobile and embedded systems engineering talent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and software development within the POS terminal domain.
- Strong expertise in Android Native development using Java and Kotlin, alongside familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter.
- Deep understanding of EMV security protocols, chip-based transactions, encryption, and hardware integration for peripherals like card readers and pin pads.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a proven track record of managing complex payment systems architecture.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in technical mentoring and stakeholder management.
