About the Role
Winners International Academy is a prestigious co-educational institution located in the heart of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Established in 1998, we are dedicated to academic excellence and moral uprightness from nursery to secondary levels. We are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Primary School Arts Teacher to inspire our young learners and foster their creative talents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative arts lessons tailored to primary school students.
- Develop a comprehensive arts curriculum that encourages student expression, imagination, and skill development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and supportive guidance.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to organize school events, art exhibitions, and cultural activities.
- Uphold the high moral and ethical standards of the academy while mentoring students.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Fine and Applied Arts or related disciplines.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is required; possession of an M.A or M.Ed will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 15 years of cognate teaching experience as a classroom or arts teacher in a reputable private school.
- Demonstrated high moral standards, a God-fearing disposition, and a genuine passion for child development.
