About the Role
Dove International Academy is looking for a passionate and qualified Primary Class Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environment for primary school students, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional development thrives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the approved primary school curriculum.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive and safe learning atmosphere.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Integrate modern educational technology and ICT tools into daily teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum enhancements.
- Foster students' personal development, instilling values of empathy, professionalism, and service to others.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed., B.A.Ed., or B.Sc.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Active Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registration or willingness to obtain it promptly.
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven teaching experience in a reputable primary school.
- Thorough understanding of primary education pedagogy and curriculum implementation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in ICT and digital learning tools.
