About the Role
Food Concepts Plc, the proud owner of Chicken Republic—the fastest-growing chicken QSR in West Africa—is seeking a dynamic and results-driven PPU Area Manager to oversee our Pie Production Units (PPUs) on the Island. In this role, you will be responsible for driving regional profitability, ensuring stringent food safety compliance, and leading a motivated team to deliver outstanding operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and monitor operational strategies to achieve area sales, gross profit, EBITDA, and PBT targets.
- Oversee daily PPU operations, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures and food safety regulations.
- Manage financial performance, control costs, monitor stock movement, and prepare comprehensive PNL reports for management.
- Lead, recruit, and mentor PPU staff, identifying training gaps and fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Resolve customer and employee issues promptly while maintaining high standards of quality assurance and customer service.
- A good first degree in Food Science and Technology or a related science discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven operational experience in a similar role within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or FMCG sector.
- Valid professional certifications in Food, Health, and Safety.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, team leadership, and performance management.
