We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Ports Operations Coordinator to join our maritime logistics team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating vessel, cargo, and port-related activities to ensure the efficient and timely execution of shipping operations while maintaining strict compliance with all local and international port regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all import and export shipping operations seamlessly from initiation to completion.
- Liaise effectively with shipping lines, terminal operators, Nigerian Customs Service, and other relevant maritime stakeholders.
- Monitor cargo clearance processes and delivery timelines to prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Identify and promptly resolve operational issues while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience working within a clearing and forwarding agency or maritime shipping firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in import and export documentation, port protocols, and Nigerian customs clearing procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management.
