Inspire Vocational Academies, a leading institution backed by an international UK-based corporate group, is seeking a visionary Polytechnic Head of Department for Electrical and Electronic Engineering at our flagship center in Yaba, Lagos. We are dedicated to transforming the lives of Nigerian youth by delivering global-standard vocational education, equipping students with hands-on technical skills for thriving careers in electronics, manufacturing, oil and gas, and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department.
- Ensure the successful implementation of standardized teaching modules, training kits, and practical lab sessions.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate certified trainers to maintain exceptional instructional quality.
- Collaborate with management to align curriculum delivery with evolving industry demands and standards.
- Monitor student progress, uphold classroom management standards, and drive a culture of academic excellence.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Valid COREN certification is strictly required.
- Demonstrated experience in academic management, curriculum delivery, and team leadership.
- Exceptional teaching, communication, and classroom management skills.
