About the Role
Proforce Limited is a leading total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and personal protection. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Plumber to join our dynamic maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all water supply, drainage, and piping systems operate efficiently to support our production operations and staff welfare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, and various plumbing fixtures.
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and carry out timely repairs to minimize facility downtime.
- Install and maintain sanitary systems including toilets, washrooms, and kitchen facilities.
- Determine the root sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs based on work orders.
- Install and service pipes, fittings, valves, water heaters, and drainage equipment.
- Interpret and work accurately from plumbing blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and materials utilized.
- Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs comply with environmental protection and safety standards.
- Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, OND, or equivalent in Plumbing, Building Services, or a related field.
- Professional plumbing certification will be an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of proven plumbing experience, preferably within a busy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial piping systems, water supply, and sanitary installations.
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing tools, fixtures, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blue prints effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and manual dexterity.
