We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Engineer – Operations to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in coordinating end-to-end engineering and production workflows, ensuring our heavy industrial projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project plans, schedules, and operational workflows for heavy industrial and manufacturing projects.
- Coordinate closely with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to optimize plant operations and minimize downtime.
- Track project milestones, evaluate progress, and generate detailed reports for management review.
- Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in industrial automation troubleshooting, covering PLC, VFD, and specialized pipe mill equipment systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant planning and operations experience within pipe mills, spiral pipe mills, steel plants, rolling mills, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of production operations, electrical maintenance, industrial automation, and quality control processes.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with proficiency in project management tools.
