About the Role
Bradfield Consulting is seeking a skilled Piling Foreman to oversee daily foundation and piling operations for major infrastructure projects in Lagos and across Nigeria. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between site workers, equipment operators, and engineering management to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily piling activities, allocate tasks, and coordinate site personnel including riggers and labourers.
- Oversee drilling operations, casing installations, reinforcement cage handling, and concrete placement.
- Monitor workforce productivity, track daily output, and report operational bottlenecks to engineering management.
- Enforce strict quality control standards, ensuring work complies with approved drawings and method statements.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and monitor strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate equipment availability, maintain proper tool storage, and report machinery faults promptly.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in piling, foundation construction, or civil engineering works.
- Technical or vocational trade qualification, with specialized knowledge in bored piling, CFA piling, or geotechnical works.
- Strong site leadership, workforce management, and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Willingness to work on-site in Lagos and travel for project deployments anywhere across Nigeria.
