Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Physics lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Prepare senior secondary students thoroughly for external examinations, including WAEC, NECO, and UTME (JAMB).
- Design and conduct practical laboratory sessions to enhance students' theoretical understanding and experimental skills.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents regularly.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs organized by the college.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc (Ed), or B.Sc in Physics, or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience teaching Physics at the Senior Secondary School level.
- Demonstrated success in preparing students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME with outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in integrating modern educational technology and laboratory equipment into daily lessons.
- A valid teaching certification (such as TRCN) will be an added advantage.
