About the Role
Islamic Finance Initiative Nigeria (IFING) Media is seeking a creative and driven Photography Intern to join our dynamic media team in Lagos. Founded in 2018, IFING Media is a pioneering creative agency dedicated to promoting Islamic finance and Halal industry products and services across Africa and beyond. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced media professionals to capture compelling visuals for our digital platforms, corporate events, and marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities- Capture high-quality photographs for corporate events, interviews, products, and marketing campaigns.
- Assist lead photographers with studio and on-location setups, lighting, and equipment management.
- Perform post-processing, image retouching, and color grading using industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Organize, manage, and maintain the digital photo archive and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to conceptualize visual content that aligns with Shariah-compliant branding.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating basic to intermediate photography skills and a keen creative eye.
- Familiarity with digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless cameras and basic lighting equipment.
- Basic knowledge of photo editing software including Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
