About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physical and Health Education (PHE) Teacher to join our vibrant academic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' attitudes toward health, wellness, and physical fitness while delivering engaging theoretical and practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of Physical and Health Education.
- Coach, train, and supervise diverse sporting activities and school sports programmes.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the approved PHE curriculum.
- Maintain excellent classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support physical and personal development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and school administration to organize inter-house sports and other extracurricular events.
- Promote health, safety, and physical wellbeing across the entire school community.
- B.Sc. Ed. in Human Health Education or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC teaching experience in a reputable educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of the Physical and Health Education curriculum and modern teaching practices.
- Proven ability to coach and manage various school sports and athletic programmes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about students' physical fitness, health, wellbeing, and overall development.
- TRCN certification or licence will be an added advantage.
