About the Role
Meadowlands School, a premier co-educational Private Christian Institution spanning preschool to secondary education, is looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Physical and Health Education (PHE) and Pre-Vocational Studies (PVS) Teacher. Founded in June 2014, our institution is committed to providing a balanced, comprehensive educational curriculum that fosters the full development of children and teens aged 15 months to 18 years. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-compliant lessons in Physical and Health Education (PHE) and Pre-Vocational Studies (PVS).
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and spiritually uplifting classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Build strong, functional, and mentoring relationships with children and teenagers.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Integrate modern educational technology into daily lesson delivery to enhance student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support school-wide events and developmental programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Physical Education, or a related field of study.
- Comfortable and proficient in teaching content directly relevant to PHE and PVS.
- Demonstrated passion as an avid learner who is open to continuous personal and professional growth.
- Natural ability to build functional, trusting relationships with children and teens.
- Excellent communication skills with a well-spoken and articulate demeanor.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to utilize digital tools for effective teaching in Nigeria.
