About the Role
Drugstore Nigeria, the country's largest online pharmacy store, is looking for a dedicated and qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. In this remote role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and customers seeking reliable medical guidance, prescription refills, and order assistance. You will play a crucial part in expanding healthcare access across Nigeria while upholding our high standards of patient safety and trustworthy service.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to customer and patient inquiries via phone, live chat, and email with professionalism and empathy.
- Answer general questions regarding medications, proper dosages, usage instructions, and product availability.
- Process online prescription orders, coordinate refills, and meticulously track order statuses.
- Escalate complex clinical inquiries and sensitive medical cases to the supervising pharmacist when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital records of all customer interactions and inquiries.
- Flag and report any safety, regulatory compliance, or inventory stock issues to management promptly.
- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician with current registration in Nigeria.
- Proven prior experience working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or structured healthcare setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in utilizing computers, digital customer-support tools, and video conferencing software.
- Possession of a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace for remote duties.
- Previous remote work, telehealth, or call-center experience is considered a strong advantage.
