About the Role
St. Camillus Catholic Hospital & College of Nursing Sciences is a premier Catholic healthcare institution and nursing college dedicated to providing quality medical services and education in Edo State. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to support our growing pharmacy department and ensure the highest standards of patient care and pharmaceutical service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Dispensing medications accurately as prescribed by physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining inventory and checking stock levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
- Labeling and packaging prescriptions with clear and accurate usage instructions.
- Assisting the pharmacist in managing daily pharmacy operations and maintaining record logs.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in storage and dispensing areas.
- Providing customer service by answering basic patient inquiries and directing complex clinical questions to the lead pharmacist.
- Must live within or around Uromi, Edo State, and be available to attend a physical interview.
- Proven experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar medical support role.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centric care.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively.
