Key Responsibilities- Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards set by the PCN.
- Counsel patients on the safe use of medications, covering dosages, administration routes, potential side effects, and proper storage.
- Verify prescription accuracy and collaborate with prescribers to resolve any medication-related discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and implement appropriate pharmaceutical interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Manage comprehensive medication inventory, overseeing stock control, expiry monitoring, and procurement requests.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, maintaining a clean, organized, and fully compliant pharmacy environment.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience working in a hospital, community, or retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong working knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety protocols, and national pharmaceutical regulations.
