The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Performance and Digitalization Analyst to join our team in Nigeria. As a leading nonprofit research-for-development organization, we tackle hunger, malnutrition, and poverty across Africa. In this pivotal role, you will leverage cutting-edge digital tools, data visualization, and generative AI to optimize facilities management, workforce planning, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards providing real-time insights on operational KPIs, projects, and staff performance.
- Apply advanced prompt engineering and generative AI to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and drive strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate administrative workflows, including staff requisitions, contract renewals, and timesheet management for temporary and casual employees.
- Develop engaging training materials and coordinate capacity-building initiatives while serving as the primary liaison with trainers.
- Enhance unit operations by producing high-quality administrative documents, reports, and digital content aligned with organizational standards.
- Collate and analyze construction and project performance metrics for comprehensive monthly management reports.
- HND or B.Sc. in a STEM discipline with AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) or an equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in operations coordination, corporate services, or facilities management within a structured environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization using modern business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, responsible AI practices, data privacy, and information security.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
