Key Responsibilities- Teach structured handwriting and penmanship lessons to nursery, primary, and secondary school students.
- Develop and implement engaging handwriting curricula that cater to different learning paces and motor skills development.
- Monitor individual student progress, providing targeted corrections and constructive feedback to improve legibility, posture, and pencil grip.
- Design creative exercises, worksheets, and classroom activities that make learning penmanship enjoyable and rewarding.
- Collaborate with class teachers and subject coordinators to assess overall literacy development and integrate neat writing standards across subjects.
- Maintain a supportive and encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to take pride in their written work.
- Participate in school-wide academic meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular events as required.
- Possession of relevant academic qualifications, such as NCE, B.Ed, B.A., or equivalent certifications in education or related fields.
- Proven experience in teaching handwriting, penmanship, or early childhood foundational literacy.
- Exceptional personal handwriting skills with a mastery of cursive, manuscript, or italic writing styles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage patiently with students of various age groups.
- A deep commitment to student character building, academic excellence, and inclusive teaching practices.
- Prior teaching experience within a recognized primary or secondary educational institution in Nigeria is an added advantage.
