About the Role
KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is a leading international non-profit organization dedicated to the global elimination of tuberculosis. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PDX Radiographer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using Portable Digital X-ray equipment, playing a crucial part in active TB case finding within hotspot communities in collaboration with the State TB and Leprosy Control Program (STBLCP).
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their utmost comfort and safety.
- Operate Portable Digital X-ray (PDX) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Adjust imaging parameters according to specific diagnostic needs and maintain accurate procedural records.
- Ensure strict compliance with all radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.
- Perform routine maintenance, quality control checks, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and local TB control programs for optimal community outreach.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Radiography.
- Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and proficiency in digital radiography.
- Familiarity with NGO activities and TB control programs is an added advantage.
- Must possess an Android phone for reporting, strong communication skills, and high integrity.
