About the Role

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Payroll Administrator (External Projects) to ensure the seamless, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll for our external client projects, including outsourced personnel and crew members. This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and strengthening stakeholder relationships across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process accurate monthly payroll for assigned external projects within established timelines.
  • Review and validate salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, joiners, leavers, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Prepare comprehensive payroll reports, payment schedules, and bank reconciliation statements.
  • Investigate and resolve all payroll discrepancies prior to final payment closure.
  • Manage crew employment contracts and maintain up-to-date payroll documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits and resolve compensation-related inquiries promptly.
  • Prepare schedules for statutory remittances, including PAYE, Pension, NHF, ITF, and NSITF, ensuring full compliance.
  • Liaise closely with clients, project teams, and Finance departments to address payroll matters.
  • Maintain secure, confidential, and audit-ready payroll records at all times.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven payroll administration experience within oil and gas, maritime, crewing, or outsourcing environments.
  • Thorough understanding of Nigerian payroll practices, tax laws, and statutory deduction requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience handling multi-project payrolls, compensation structures, and complex reconciliations.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern payroll or HRIS software systems.
