Lakeshore Cancer Center (LCC) is the first operational facility in Nigeria solely dedicated to cancer prevention and treatment. Our multidisciplinary team consists of certified cancer specialists and highly passionate professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As an affiliate of the prestigious Roswell Park Cancer Institute in New York, we maintain global standards in oncology. We are currently looking for a dedicated Patient Coordinator to facilitate seamless patient journeys, provide empathetic administrative support, and ensure that every individual visiting our facility receives the utmost care and attention in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through registration, scheduling, and hospital processes with empathy and professionalism.
- Coordinate appointments, consultations, and diagnostic tests efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records, ensuring all patient data complies with medical privacy standards.
- Liaise closely with doctors, nurses, and billing departments to ensure comprehensive and synchronized patient care delivery.
- Address patient inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and provide clear information regarding hospital services and treatment schedules.
- Possess a relevant Bachelor's degree or higher National Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated experience in patient administration, customer service, or a similar role within the Nigerian healthcare sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong, empathetic interpersonal style.
- Proficiency in using hospital management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining acute attention to detail.
