We are currently looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and elevate our dessert offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide variety of high-quality pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts for Aarons Restro Bar, room service, and special hotel events.
  • Design seasonal dessert menus that align with the luxury brand standards of AtlanticBlu Hotel & Resort.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory, order baking supplies, and manage stock levels to minimize food waste and control operational costs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all pastry preparation areas.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen brigade to coordinate menu execution and special guest requests.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry staff to maintain consistency and excellence in production.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional pastry experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end bakery.
  • Degree, diploma, or relevant culinary certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Hospitality Management.
  • Deep knowledge of baking science, pastry techniques, chocolate work, and modern plating trends.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines and local Nigerian food safety regulations.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
