We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our healthcare network in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide top-tier optometric assessments, manage patient eye-care services, and contribute significantly to the effective running of our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and accurately assess visual function for diverse patients.
- Diagnose and manage refractive and common ocular conditions, providing appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Prescribe and oversee optical and therapeutic management plans within your professional scope of practice.
- Maintain precise, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues while working harmoniously within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree obtained from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of the required national internship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience, though exceptional newly registered practitioners may also be considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge of optometric assessment, clinical eye care, and sound clinical record-keeping.
- Postgraduate training, relevant certifications, or active membership in recognized professional associations will be an added advantage.
