About the Role
Swift Consulting, a premier business support organization offering diverse services across multiple sectors, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in optimizing our logistical processes, ensuring that our fleet operations run seamlessly to support our clients and internal objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations efficiently.
- Monitor drivers, vehicles, routes, schedules, and active trips.
- Ensure all company vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and available for operations.
- Track vehicle movement and enforce strict adherence to assigned routes and schedules.
- Liaise professionally with drivers, customers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Resolve operational challenges swiftly and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and related activities.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Nigerian transportation regulations.
- Prepare regular, comprehensive operational reports for management review.
- Identify innovative opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage vehicle documentation, renewals, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven relevant experience in transport, logistics, fleet, or operations management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transportation and fleet management best practices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor, lead, and coordinate drivers effectively.
