About the Role
BOURBON Oil & Gas is a global leader in marine services, committed to operational excellence in continental and deepwater offshore sectors. We are currently looking for a skilled Operations Logistic Coordinator to join our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee vessel preparation, logistics coordination, and fleet monitoring to guarantee seamless operations and strict adherence to marine safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare vessels for client pre-hire inspections and deployments, ensuring all critical spare parts, equipment, and documentation are ready to prevent scheduling delays.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of navigational and operational equipment, including Radar, AIS, VHF, GPS, and CCTV systems.
- Manage OVID inspection preparation, document uploads, and quayside coordination for maintenance, crew changes, and dry dock operations at the Amadi base.
- Monitor the daily transit and operations of the active fleet, maintaining up-to-date fleet charts and conducting remote CCTV reviews.
- Collaborate with purchasing and technical departments to track routine and urgent material requests, ensuring continuous vessel sea endurance.
- Promote a robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture while leading incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, with a minimum of a Diploma Level and Certificate of Competency (COC).
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the maritime industry, with at least 3 years spent working at sea.
- In-depth knowledge of marine industry best practices, pollution controls, and rules of the road.
- Strong familiarity with maintenance tools, methodologies, and safety management systems.
