About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing, inspection, and procurement services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Projects, Drilling & Exploration Procurement group as a Drilling Logistics Lead III. In this critical role, you will oversee comprehensive logistical and materials management services, ensuring seamless support for our drilling operations in-country.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Drilling Logistics Lead III, your primary duties will include:
- Managing day-to-day logistical business, including strategy implementation, contractor staff supervision, and inventory control.
- Coordinating efficient material movements to offshore and onshore rig locations while working closely with the Drilling Operations Superintendent.
- Analyzing Drilling Programs for each rig and well to determine equipment, tools, and material requirements in alignment with drilling instructions.
- Maintaining appropriate and safe storage facilities for company-owned drilling equipment and tools.
- Ensuring timely replenishment, purchase, fabrication, and repair of equipment through contracted companies.
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Associate's degree with formal training in mechanical trades.
- Proven experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably within international frontier operations.
- Demonstrated background in operations, specifically supporting drilling activities, materials, equipment, and oilfield services.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
- Strong ethical practices in local labor supervision, inventory control, oil field accounting, and contract administration.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high adaptability to remote working conditions.
