We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Operational Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily accounting operations, drive cost control, and oversee financial reporting within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting transactions, general ledger maintenance, and comprehensive financial records.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, insightful management reports, and reliable cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor production costs, operating expenses, budgets, and overall business profitability.
- Conduct regular reconciliations for bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Track inventory levels, raw materials, finished goods, and complex stock movements.
- Analyze purchases, revenue, operational expenses, and cost variances to drive financial efficiency.
- Ensure stringent internal controls, accurate documentation, and full compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.
- Provide critical support for budgeting, financial analysis, internal audits, and strategic management decision-making.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience working in a recycling company or a related FMCG industry.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in standard accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 300, QuickBooks, and TallyPrime.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with familiarity in ERP systems and inventory management modules being a distinct advantage.
