About the Role
Bluechip Technologies Limited is a leading business application firm focused exclusively on assisting organizations in planning, designing, implementing, and operating business application solutions and strategies. We are currently looking for a hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes Engineer to join our expanding infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm to streamline continuous deployment.
- Integrate container platforms with CI/CD pipelines using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, and Jenkins.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stacks.
- Enforce strict security standards, RBAC, and vulnerability management in collaboration with the Information Security team.
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in container orchestration, cloud-native infrastructure, and Linux administration.
- Proven expertise deploying and administering Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes at scale in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
- Familiarity with major cloud providers such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or Google Cloud GKE.
