We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Officer (Out-Patient/A&E) to join our esteemed healthcare operations in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care within our ambulatory and appointment-based clinic environments, ensuring all clinical standards and protocols are strictly maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for all out-patients and emergency cases within the stream.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately in strict accordance with professional scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records while upholding rigorous infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards.
  • Perform patient triage, monitor vital signs, and efficiently prepare clinical rooms ahead of physician consultations.
  • Manage injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics while delivering impactful point-of-care health education to patients and families.
  • Coordinate same-day referrals, facilitate managed-care processes, and ensure patients are safely discharged from the clinic.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration and license, alongside MCPDP compliance.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience, though exceptional newly registered nurses will be considered.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited School of Nursing, or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized university.
  • Completed required clinical orientation, internship, and NYSC (for degree holders), or hold a valid exemption letter.
  • Strong competencies in clinical assessment, patient safety, infection control, and professional communication.
