We are currently seeking a passionate, warm, and dedicated Montessori Nursery Teacher to join our vibrant team of early childhood educators and guide our young learners toward academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging teaching activities in line with approved Montessori schemes, lesson plans, and school policies.
- Monitor pupils' learning progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Identify pupils with additional learning needs and collaborate closely with the Remedial Teacher to provide targeted support.
- Maintain a well-managed, disciplined, and positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and independence.
- Provide exceptional pastoral care and support the holistic development of each child.
- Assess, grade, and record pupils' work, including class activities and developmental assessments.
- Track and report on individual pupil progress, celebrating milestones and achievements.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with parents through regular, professional communication.
- Relevant qualification in Montessori Education or Early Childhood Education from a recognized higher institution.
- Diploma in Montessori from a certified and approved center, or a strong willingness to commence the certification programme.
- Proven professional experience working with nursery-aged children in a structured setting.
- A child-friendly, deeply patient, and nurturing personality with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Must reside within or around the Ajah, Abijo, Awoyaya, or Epe axis in Lagos.
- Strong oral and written communication skills complemented by clear, professional diction.
