About the Role
Al-Ihsan Islamic School, located in the vibrant community of Millennium City, Kaduna, Nigeria, is dedicated to raising morally upright and academically competent future leaders. We are currently seeking a passionate and compassionate Nursery Teacher to join our esteemed early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where young children can take their crucial first steps in formal education while imbibing strong Islamic values.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the school's academic and moral curriculum.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to early childhood development.
- Monitor, assess, and record individual students' academic progress, behavioral milestones, and developmental needs.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication regarding their children's progress.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and school administration to execute school activities and curriculum enhancements.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and proper supervision of all nursery pupils at all times.
- Relevant educational qualifications such as an NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related fields.
- Proven teaching experience within a nursery or early childhood educational setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Exceptional classroom management skills and boundless patience.
