About the Role

Maternal-Child Specialists' Clinics is a rapidly growing hospital located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, specializing in comprehensive maternity care, advanced fertility management, pediatrics, surgery, and general medicine. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized NHIA Front Desk & Admin Officer to serve as the administrative engine of our facility. In this role, you will be the vital link between our patients and healthcare financing, ensuring that all National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and HMO processes run smoothly, professionally, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient NHIA and HMO eligibility, secure treatment authorizations, and manage daily data capture on relevant portals.
  • Prepare, document, and submit medical claims accurately while proactively following up on payments and resolving queries.
  • Educate patients regarding their health insurance benefits, coverage limits, and co-payment obligations.
  • Manage front desk operations, welcoming patients and visitors with exceptional customer service and professional etiquette.
  • Coordinate human resources tasks including recruitment support, onboarding, attendance tracking, leave management, and staff record keeping.
  • Assist in payroll preparation, employee welfare administration, and the maintenance of internal disciplinary processes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc in Health Records Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in hospital administration, HMO desk operations, or human resources within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating the NHIA portal and various HMO platforms is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and professional email correspondence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a smart, professional appearance and high level of integrity.
  • Must reside in Ado-Ekiti or be willing to resume work promptly within the location.
