About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited (UP), Nigeria's premier payments and financial technology company founded in 1997, is looking for a dedicated Network & User Administrator. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of our organizational network infrastructure and user systems, ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable connectivity across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable first-level support for network connectivity issues, including POS systems, internet access, and user devices.
- Assist in the efficient setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other essential user hardware.
- Monitor network infrastructure and escalate critical alerts and warnings proactively.
- Ensure robust security by supporting antivirus and endpoint protection updates across all user devices.
- Maintain stable internet and email connectivity for optimal business operations.
- Collaborate with the team in applying timely patches and updates to systems and devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and health checks on network devices and user systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware and network device inventories.
- Support compliance tasks under supervision, such as PCI-DSS readiness and audit responses.
- Escalate unresolved technical incidents promptly to senior administrators or specialized teams.
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related technical disciplines with a minimum of a Second-Class Lower division.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in user support and basic network administration.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCP, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation will be an added advantage.
