Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures to safeguard sensitive banking and customer data.
- Monitor network traffic continuously for anomalous activities, security breaches, and potential cyber threats using advanced SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across all internal and external network systems.
- Collaborate with the IT and software development teams to integrate security best practices into all new digital banking products.
- Develop, update, and enforce comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, perform thorough root-cause analysis, and execute mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network security within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of firewall configurations, VPNs, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and secure network protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to the Nigerian banking sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills with high attention to detail.
