About the Role
Fort Knox Group, a leading diversified security and financial outfit in West Africa with over 95 years of global experience, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Installer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this mobile field role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining satellite television and network systems at various customer locations, ensuring seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Install and set up DStv and GOtv satellite systems at designated residential and commercial customer locations.
- Mount and precisely align satellite dishes to guarantee optimal signal reception and quality.
- Configure decoders, Low Noise Block downconverters (LNBs), cables, connectors, and related hardware.
- Conduct thorough signal strength checks and troubleshoot any installation or connectivity issues.
- Perform timely repairs, equipment replacements, and system maintenance as required.
- Educate clients on the proper usage and basic troubleshooting of their newly installed equipment.
- Maintain precise daily records of completed installations, service requests, and inventory used.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and company guidelines during all field operations.
- Proven field experience working as a DStv, GOtv, Satellite TV, or Network Installer.
- Strong hands-on expertise in satellite dish mounting, alignment, and cable termination.
- Proficient in using basic installation tools and professional signal-strength meters.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing signal, cabling, and decoder faults.
- Good communication and customer-service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel to customer locations as assigned.
- Relevant technical training, certifications, or MultiChoice-affiliated experience will be an added advantage.
