Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy for Education and AJC standards.
- Cover all items in the school's scheme of work effectively and efficiently.
- Equip students with practical musical knowledge applicable to everyday life.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize school events, choir performances, and cultural productions.
- Possession of a B.Ed or B.A in Music, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Higher degrees or professional certifications in music will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of adolescent psychology and effective classroom management strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while serving as a collaborative team player.
