Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach students vocal and instrumental music, music theory, and appreciation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Train and direct the school choir, orchestra, or instrumental groups for school events and performances.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate music into broader school activities and celebrations.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Education, Music, or a relevant field.
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) will be considered an added advantage.
- Proven teaching experience as a Music Teacher in a reputable educational setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
- Must be God-fearing with high moral standards and integrity.
- Must currently reside within Awka, Anambra State.
