Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons for students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach students vocal and instrumental music, music theory, and rhythm appreciation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Organize and direct school choirs, instrumental bands, and musical performances for school events and ceremonies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts and music into broader school activities and programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Ed, B.A, or B.Sc) in Music Education or a relevant related field.
- Previous teaching experience in a recognized school environment will be an added advantage.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated proficiency in good classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Self-driven, highly dedicated, and genuinely passionate about teaching and youth development.
- Must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State, or be able to commute easily.
