About the Role
ReelFruit is Nigeria's leading dried fruit snack company, offering delicious products retailed in over 250 stores nationwide. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join our facility in Abeokuta. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, assembling, modifying, and repairing machinery, equipment, tools, and metal installations to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture and assemble machine components using advanced welding, cutting, and machining techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate precise machine parts.
- Operate essential fabrication tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Modify and repair existing machinery to improve overall performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Conduct thorough inspections, load tests, and performance checks to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot faults and develop custom machine solutions.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in machine fabrication, metalworking, or mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), machining, and CNC operations.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.
