About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for qualified and experienced Medical Officers (Grades II-VI) to join our esteemed healthcare network in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care in obstetrics and gynaecology, managing patients across out-patient and in-patient settings with decreasing levels of supervision. You will contribute significantly to the safe, effective running of our obstetrics and gynaecology services while upholding international standards of medical practice and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in obstetrics and gynaecology under appropriate medical supervision and escalate complex cases when necessary.
  • Participate actively in clinical ward rounds, outpatient clinics, on-call rotas, and surgical procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and keep a current Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) registration and practicing licence.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, coordinating patient care and supporting Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) processes.
  • Contribute to departmental clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based, cost-effective medical practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of mandatory housemanship and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), with a valid MDCN practicing licence.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience, including relevant practice at the Medical Officer I grade or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology with strong communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Postgraduate training, relevant membership exams (e.g., National Postgraduate Medical College or West African College), or life support certifications will be an added advantage.
