In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional clinical care, ensuring that patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatments in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in family medicine under supervision, ensuring proper escalation of complex cases when necessary.
- Participate actively in clinical sessions, ward rounds, on-call rotas, and necessary medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and keep your MDCN registration and license fully current.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating patient care and supporting HMO processes through evidence-based practices.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Successful completion of housemanship/internship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption letter.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience, though newly qualified medical officers with valid licenses will also be considered.
- Demonstrated clinical exposure relevant to family medicine and the ability to manage common medical presentations.
