We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team and contribute to accurate, timely patient diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and pathology to aid in cancer diagnosis and surgical planning.
  • Collect, process, and label patient biological specimens accurately while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliable test results.
  • Manage inventory of laboratory reagents, supplies, and materials, reporting shortages promptly to management.
  • Record test results meticulously in the laboratory information system and ensure data integrity and patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate closely with pathologists, oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to support exceptional patient care.
  • Comply with all health, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards within the medical facility.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree, National Diploma, or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science or related discipline.
  • Current and valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
  • Proven work experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician in a recognized hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
  • Strong proficiency in operating modern laboratory diagnostic equipment and automated analysers.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
